In 2016, the members of the Club decided to widen the area of action and applicants from outside of the town of Trenčín, from municipalities of Trenčín, Ilava, Bánovce nad Bebravou, were allowed to join in. This year, the evaluation meeting took place in the summer for the first time. With as much as 18 applications having been delivered before the closure, the question is what played a bigger role? The change in the schedule, or the widening of the area?
For the presentation in front of the members of the Club, 10 applicants were invited whose projects fared the best in the first evaluation round. From among these projects, the following seven were successful and received financial support in the total amount of 3 151 €:
Draw a Story – Audio CD of Matej Zámečník, who decided to create a CD for pre-school kids on the motives of his book
Christmas Cymbalo Concert of the Trenčín Center for Enlightenment for young talents
Sport Day for the Deaf of the Sport Club for the Deaf in Trenčín
Open Door Day – Welcome to Handrbolka, because the forest education and alternative education needs to be discussed
Teplice Strings 2017, year 0 of the summer music festival of string instruments in Trenčianske Teplice will be organized by the people around Miloš Lutka.
And the second summer festival full of culture, education and fun to look forward to is Children´s Festival 2017, organized by the TRAKT association.
Successful project from 2016 continues under the name Brezina for All! and the association Zaži Trenčín will supplement the equipment in streetworkout in Brezina Park.
