Coca-Cola Widens the Pool of Applicants

„In the second round of the call for proposals, we have widened the geographical area of the potential applicants to include four more communities. We believe that the continuation of the program will bring about more projects, that will leave a positive footprint in the region,“ says Marián Pavelka, Director for External Relations for Coca-Cola HBC Slovakia.

The call for proposals has been widened to include Hôrka nad Váhom, Ducové, Stará Lehota, and Nová Lehota. In this second call for proposals, we will be allocating resources in the amount of 16 000 euros. The projects will be implemented approximately within six months (31st October 2017), which is a longer time period than in the first call for proposals in 2016. The maximum sum that is recommended to apply for is 4 000 euros, but this amount is not strictly fixed and in case of an exceptional project, the grant committee may approve a higher amount.

The call for proposals is open for NGOs, other non-profit legal subjects, informal groups of citizens and individual applicants. Successful projects from the first call for proposals will not be supported again, meaning that the applicants would have to submit a new original project.

Submitted projects will be evaluated by an independent grant committee and apart from criteria already mentioned here, they will also be considering the quality of the application and personal presentation. In case of interest on the part of the applicants, we are preparing a short seminar on how to prepare a project in accordance with conditions of the call for proposals.
