22nd June, Handrbolka celebrated the Day of Forest Kindergartens. They combined it with a concert of the „Pánka“ group, a musician who performs for community events aimed at healthy lifestyle.
On 27th June, the 2nd year of the Childrens´ Festival (TRAKT) took place. The festival was well organized and connected many art activities. The main theme was the open studio in the Hviezda Cultural Center (workshops of luminography, graphics, encaustics, painting and photography), and the animated movies were appreciated by both the children and adults.
The Summer Music Festival in Trenčianske Teplice (Miloš Lutka) on 4th July was successful despite some weather. It was connected to last year´s Teplické mechy. The afternoon program was mostly interesting for the kids, and the older generations were entertained by the musicians in the evening.
In the forest park Brezina, the enthusiasts continue to build the street-workout park. This summer, they added training benches thanks the the Donors Club grant. The jumping steps are in full use since their installation and today, they can be used to make handstands (or headstands if preferredJ).
Holiday under the Trenčín Castle (Center for Family) was an unforgettable week for the children from 14th to 18th August. Among the top activities were water games and dragon ships. New friendships were brought by the „angels tasks“ – the children drew a ward that they had to secretly watch out and care for, be nice or make a gift to.
