Open Your Heart, Donate a Book

The Christmas is still a bit distant, but the Trenčín Foundation is approaching the finish line in preparing the twelfth year of the project. Numerous people with a good heart have already become a natural part of it, by visiting one of the chosen bookstores each year, looking for the shelf dedicated to the project. This year will not be different. For the twelfth time already, we will donate gifts of book to the children from families in need.

The bookstores, where you can buy books for the children, have a corner dedicated just to this project. The books are marked with a lovely illustration from the authors Naďa Žatková and Saša Hudecová, so that they are easily identifiable for the buyer. The donors, although ignorant of the identity of the recipient, often write into the book a wish or a greeting.

The Christmas book gifts bought by anonymous donors will be collected by the Trenčín Foundation right before Christmas. They will subsequently be delivered to the recipients in the company of fairy tale creatures, performing a short show in a pleasant environment of one of the institutions in Trenčín. Each year, the kind donors give pleasure to more than 200 little readers. Thank You.
